The congratulations from all club members go to Roger for this achievement and when you take a look at just what has been achieved during his 30 years of service to Rotary International, it would probably be hard to find many people in the world with this degree of dedication.

Joined Hamilton East Rotary in 1988 and moved to Tauranga Te Papa Rotary in 1993.
Member of Rotary Youth Exchange District Committee since 1989.
Served as Outbound Coordinator of Rotary Youth Exchange until District Chair in 1993 until 1997.
Remained on Rotary Youth Exchange District Committee until now as Travel and Insurance Advisor.
Acts as Travel Coordinator for all Districts of New Zealand for the Rotary Youth Exchange Programme.
Served as a Leader of Group Study Exchange Team to District 4630 Brazil in 2001.
In conjunction with Rotary clubs in Maringa, Brazil, Roger organised a Global Grant through Tauranga Te Papa Rotary in 2003 to fund the supply of computers to a school in the State of Parana.
Served as District Chair of Group Study Exchange for 2002/2005.
Served as District Chair of Georgia Rotary Student Program over years 1998-2006 
Organised and was tour leader of an unofficial Rotary Friendship visit to South America (Chile, Argentina & Brazil) in 2010.  Since then Rotarians from Brazil have reciprocated with return visits to our District and being home hosted by Tauranga Te Papa Rotary
District Governor for the Rotary year 2012-13 
Served as District Membership (Club Development) Director 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017
Was representative for Convention Promotion for Sydney (2014), Sao Paulo (2015), Korea (2016) and Atlanta (2017)
Acted as Coordinator and Tour Chaperone for Convention Tours to Sydney, Sao Paulo and Korea.
Member of District 9930 International Youth Exchange Committee since 1989
President of Tauranga Te Papa Club in 1997.
Director over many years of most Committees in his club.
