The Great Tauranga Duck Race
Apr 13, 2025 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The Duck Race is on again next year at The Strand Waterfront, Downtown.

Run by Tauranga Te Papa Rotary, with Major Sponsor Ray White Tauranga, the event sees 5,000 ducklings released, with each Duckling numbered in a lucky raffle draw with prizes for the first three ducklings across the finish line. Tickets will be on sale from February 2025 with $1,000 first prize, $500 second prize and $250 for third.

There is also a Corporate Duck Race for businesses to particpate in at a cost of $230 per duck GST Inc.

Funds raised will benefit Local Charities, and Rotary Charitable Activities.
